Kindergraden Graduation

The end of Kindergarten, and the end of the school year. What a pleasure it was to sit and watch the four year old kindergarten and kindergarten students sing songs for all of us. I was a proud grandmother  (I'm called YaYa that will be a different blog) as I watched him and his classmate perform, and perform they did.

Getting into position before the program begins.
He finally sees all of us waving.

The songs had movements.
Years from now we will wonder ...

what the heck

was he singing about.
All the children filled the stage for a group song,
"Lord I Lift Your Name On High"
this song also had movements.
I listened to these four and five year olds
sing these words of the chorus:

You came from heaven to earth, to show the way
From the earth to the cross, my debt to pay
From the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky
Lord I lift your name on high
Lord I lift your name on high
Lord I lift your name on high
Lord I lift your name on high
Lord I lift your name on high
Lord I lift your name on high.

As they all sang the song, I had a tear in my eye,
and I remembered this;
 Proverbs 22:6

Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it.

Congratulations look out 1st grade here he comes!

My oldest daughter and the Kindergarten graduate.

No more photos of the graduate,
snacks were being served.

Yummo

Treat bags for all the grads.
Let's eat and go home, because
schools out for the summer!
