Thrift Share Monday

First off, I would like to thank Linda from Coastal Charm for featuring my Blushing Rose China on this weeks Nifty Thrifty Tuesday. Each week Linda hosts a link up party, you can find thrifted treasures, decorating ideas, recipes and all kinds of good things at this link up party. Take a minute to pop over and see her charming blog, pun intended and link up to Nifty Thrifty Tuesday.

I'm always in awe a the fabulous Pyrex finds of Sir Thrift-A-Lot, but this week I am happy to announce that I found a few pieces of Pyrex at reasonable prices.

This is my first Sandalwood striped piece of Pyrex, it is in pretty good condition for the small price of 50¢. I always like to find Pyrex adjustable cradles comes in handy for those casseroles that come straight out of the oven onto the table.

Nestles inside of each other Spring Blossom mixing bowls in awesome shiny condition. The male doll was made in Poland, and you know I love anything Polish.

This little elephant looked like it needed a good home, great for a tea party with LuLu Belle.

I can never seem to pass up a souvenir handkerchief this one is from Minnesota. Such a pretty Vera scarf. I got hooked on Vera scarves because Jill from the blog A Little Bit of Everything always wrote about her love for these wonderful scarves.

I loved Elsie the cow when I was young and drank Borden milk during my youth, I just like dish cloths. Who remembers those gallon glass jugs with the red plastic handles?

I didn't have to go very far to find this week's treasure, my neighbor had her estate sale, and two other neighbors had rummage sales.

  6. Love the Pyrex, I didn't know there was a striped pattern. Nice! I found two pieces this weekend too, a small mushroom pattern bowl and a large wheat casserole. The bowl set is beautiful!

  7. Some great finds, Paulette! It is hard to resist some nice Pyrex buys. I think my favorite of your finds is the Elsie towel. One of my husband's art professors designed the Elsie logo.

One of my favorite thrifts is having a 25% off customer appreciation sale this Saturday. I haven't been thrifting in ages, but this is too good to pass up. I'll bring a box or two to donate as well so I don't feel too guilty.
