Raggedy Ann and Andy Treasures

My parents were forward thinking people and made a set of Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls for their first born great grandchildren. When we were cleaning out the homestead, after they both had passed, wrapped in recycled plastic, on the shelf in the hallway closet, was a set of dolls for the three grandchildren to pass on to their children. I witnessed Ragged Ann and Andy being displayed in each nursery after the birth of each of my parents great grandchildren.

This is one set of Raggedy Ann and Andy 

that was made for the great grandchildren.

In my mind, these dolls are family treasures, thanks mom and dad for being forward thinkers.
