Thrift Store Find

I saw it tossed on the bottom shelf of the thrift store, I sucked in my breath as I reached down to pick it up.

It was filthy dirty ...
with grease and caked on dirt in every crease and cranny.
Wright Farberware stamped on the back.
Priced at $9.99, I don't normally spend that much on thrift store purchases, I walked away, left the store got in my car, and couldn't get that tray out of my mind, so I went back in and bought it.
With a little elbow grease, the flowers ...
the saw tooth edge and the rope handle ...
along with this fabulous plate featuring a compote with flowers and fruit...

made by Lomoges ...
create this stunning serving tray.

This tray is totally not my style, it is extremely large, 21" from handle to handle, and 16.5" in diameter, but I thought it was beautiful.
