Took a trip to the one of my favorite Goodwill stores in a neighboring town yesterday, I was surprised when I walked in, they rearranged the store layout and added a new rack right up front for the...
Ugly Holiday Sweaters!
Santa, gloves, socks, holly, Christmas trees, and fur collars decorate pull over sweaters, cardigans, and vests, but my eyes opened wide when I saw this holiday dress.
This dress was so awful that I had to take photos.
That, Pauline, is a dress and a half. It's so hideous that I almost like it. xx
ReplyDeleteWell, don't that beat all! I've never seen so many holiday sweaters in one place and never a dress. I cannot imagine Santa filling that stocking.
ReplyDeleteHaha. Well, there is a reason it was given away. lol
ReplyDeleteThese are so funny! We don't really have christmas jumpers in the shops here, I think it would be great fun to wear one!
ReplyDeleteI read in a magazine left in our staff room only today that River Island (one of our so called trendy shops used by the young girls who are very fashion conscious) has a wide range of these type of jumpers this year as they are the current must have fashion item!!
ReplyDeleteIts so bad its good!
ReplyDeleteWow- words cannot even describe that dress. What are they thinking charging that much for it?
ReplyDeleteAs I was looking through the first photos, I was thinking that surely those sweaters could be turned into something. . .but what? Perhaps a tote bag?
Thanks for sharing. Got a chuckle out of this post.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog:)
The thrift store I frequent has now marked the Christmas sweater up to a ridiculous amount given the number of juveniles and college students buying them for UGLY sweater parties! Shame, shame, shame, it's a THRIFT store!
ReplyDeleteA Christmas sweater party would be fun!
ReplyDeleteI bought one last year intending to sell it (one just like it sold for $50 on ebay) but I didn't and just discovered it in a box this morning. I'm going to wear it this year. Haha. What fun!
