Life Happens, but I'm Still Cheerful

Dear Sweet Blog Friends,

Please forgive my lack of blog post these past few weeks, while you all are very important to me and I miss you all dearly, there has been some unexpected events that have occurred and health issues.

This little fellow was diagnosed with influenza, and after a day of babysitting I found out that he likes to share.

So this is now my new best friend...

This question keeps swirling in my mind... why didn't you get a flu shot?  As soon as this nasty bug has run its course I will be back.

Thanks to all my blog friends who have emailed me to see where I was, and a big welcome to my new followers.

Cheerfully,
Paulette

  5. Paulette, sorry you are not feeling well. Don't beat yourself up about the flu shot. Plenty of folks around here have gotten the shot AND the flu.

Please treat yourself to lots of liquids and plenty of rest.

    Take care,
    Tammy

  8. Hi Paulette, Hope you are feeling better soon. We had to have a flu jab for work so hopefully we wont succumb. There are all sorts of viruses going about here though and my grandchildren have all been ill one way or another recently.

  10. I've been away these past three weeks myself but have managed to avoid the flu and other illnesses I've run across. I didn't do the flu shot either as I never have, now apparently it's too late.

  12. Oh, Paulette, I feel for you. My husband and I have had that nasty stuff, too. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. At least maybe the remainder of the year will be healthier for those of us who got this out of the way early.
