Let's have a tea party, said my sweet LuLu Belle, and so we did.
What a perfect way to spend the afternoon.
We gathered the items needed and set the table for the tea party. Every item put on the table was picked out by LuLu Belle. |
LuLu Belle tried tea for the first time. Two drops of tea, cream and several spoons full of sugar. |
Pound cake, pretzels, Teddy Grahams, and marshmallows filled our plates. YaYa, said LuLu Belle, put a marshmallow on the end of the pretzel and then eat it. It wasn't too bad. |
The pound cake was a big hit with LuLu Belle. We ate our snacks and had a delightful chat... |
until the cartoon Doc McStuffins came on, and that was the end of our chat and our tea party. |
Cheerfully,
Paulette
It looks like a fun time. Your table was so festive but only in America would someone serve pretzels and teddy bears. I've always wanted to go to a high tea where they serve wonderful bites of melt in your mouth sandwiches and deserts.
ReplyDeletePrecious. And her comment about cleaning up was precious, too. My young son said something similar to me when I took him Trick or Treating for the first time. After the second house visit, he said to me, "now, Mom, you can do the rest of the houses on the street." From the mouths of babes!
ReplyDeleteJust adorable!!
ReplyDeleteI think LuLu Belle has something with the marshmallow studded pretzels...sounds yummy to me!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I can't wait to have tea parties!
