My children are all in their thirties, with children of their own, and sometimes I don't know how they survived. The media have informed us that toys from that era were painted with paint that may have contained lead, we shouldn't start feeding baby food until six months old so that digestive systems can be better formed to help prevent allergies and babies that are starting to walk do not have a need for stiff, high top, walking shoes, they don't have weak ankles.
Among the shelves of thrift objects at my local GW Boutique, (Goodwill) I spotted these bronzed shoes attached to a marble base.

After seeing the bronzed shoes, that reminded me that my parents had my walking shoes bronzed. Of course, I have no idea where they are at the moment, I searched for them with no success, I must have stored them in a spot where I keep my special treasures. I can never remember where that spot is but, I have one.
My first child had her shoes bronzed, of course my mother purchased her first pair of stiff, high top, white leather shoes, unfortunately, my next two children won't have that keepsake, for some reason, I didn't bronze theirs.
Does anyone still bronze baby shoes?
